Vivenda Aurora Rental Booking Terms and Conditions
Staying at Vivenda Aurora
Your contract is with Stephen, Jeremy and Evelyn Waud – the villa that you rent from us is privately owned. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms and conditions of the following contract.
Booking and Paying Deposits
A deposit of 50% is required of the total rental price upon booking and the final balance is to be paid 3 months prior to your arrival date. Properties will be held upon booking and the deposit must be received within 3 working days, failure to do so can result in us rebooking these dates.
There is no rebate of the deposit if the contract is not fulfilled. Any rentals booked within 3 months of departure dates should be paid in full at the time of booking.
Confirmation of booking
A confirmation email will be sent to you on receipt of the deposit of monies paid. On receipt of the final payment the full property details and the front door key box codes will be provided.
Cancellation of your booking
Should you cancel your booking after confirmation has been issued the following will apply:
All cancellations should be in writing and will take affect from that date. The closer your cancellation is to the arrival date the less likely we are to recover the costs by reselling these dates and therefore our cancellation charges increase as the date approaches as shown below. If cancelled more than 3 months prior to arrival – Loss of Deposit (50%), after this time there will be no refund.
Entering and Vacating Properties
Your villa will be ready to occupy by 3.00pm (Portugal time) on the day of your arrival. You must be vacated by 11.00am sharp on your departure day to allow the maid to prepare for the next visitors unless agreed specifically to the contrary in writing.
Cleaning and Villa Servicing
The villa will be cleaned for your arrival and serviced once per week during your stay at which point the Maid will clean the house, top up the water tank (Cisterna), swimming pool and water the plants etc.
Customers and their guests are asked to replace any breakages where possible and if not to notify our agent Antonio Moita and his colleagues who’s contact details are provided in the villa information pack sent to all customers before their stay.
Additional Services/Facilities available on Request
- Additional visits as agreed to clean and service the house, making beds etc as required
- Swimming pool heating during inclement weather or in Spring/Autumn
- Car Hire
